Creating a disturbance by arguing, shouting, or making excessive noise.
Throwing, tearing, bending, or crumpling cards.
Destroying or defacing property.
Using an illegal substance.
Carrying a weapon.

The following actions are improper, and grounds for warning, suspending, or barring a violator:

Deliberately acting out of turn.
Deliberately splashing chips into the pot.
Agreeing to check a hand out when a third player is all-in.
Reading a hand for another player at the showdown before it has been placed faceup on the table.
Telling anyone to turn a hand faceup at the showdown.
Revealing the contents of a live hand in a multihanded pot before the betting is complete.
Needlessly stalling the action of a game.
Deliberately discarding hands away from the muck. Cards should be released in a low line of flight, at a moderate rate of speed (not at the dealer's hands or chip-rack).
Stacking chips in a manner that interferes with dealing or viewing cards.
Making statements or taking action that could unfairly influence the course of play, whether or not the offender is involved in the pot.
Using a cell phone at the table.

Hold'em Poker is a combination of Community Poker and the use of blind bets in place of antes. The main Hold'em game from which all others branch is Texas Hold'em.

In addition to designations of minimum bet and maximum bet, in Hold 'Em Poker (with the exception of Home Hold 'Em), designation will need to be made for the "small blind bet" and the "big blind bet". Instead of starting the pot off with players' antes, Hold 'Em games start off the pot with two blind bets (bets made by players before they even see their cards). The small blind should be slightly less or equal to the minimum bet. The big blind should be twice as much as the small blind.

Before looking at their cards, the player to the left of the dealer throws their small blind bet into the pot and the player to the left of the small blind throws their big blind bet into the pot. The player to the left of the big blind is the first player who can actually look at his or her hand before deciding whether or not to see the blinds and call, see the blinds and raise, or fold. The rest of the betting round proceeds as a regular poker betting round, bearing in mind that the two blinds have already invested money into this betting round and only need to see the bumps that were made after them.

This applies only to the first betting round. All other betting rounds proceed as per regular poker betting rounds, following the flipping of the community cards. The standard number of community cards in a Hold 'Em game is five. Three cards are flipped after the first betting round ("The Flop"), a fourth after the second betting round ("The Turn") and a fifth after the third betting round ("The River").

Two cards are dealt face down to each player. Before or while they are being dealt, the player to the dealer's left makes the pre-determined "small blind" bet. This is immediately followed by the player to the left of the 'small blind' making the "big blind" bet.
The player to the left of the 'big blind' is the first player permitted to look at his or her hand before making a betting decision. That player can see the big blind and call, see the big blind and raise, or fold. The rest of the betting round conducts itself as a regular poker betting round, with the opening bet to call, raise, or fold being the big blind's.

When the betting round reaches the small blind, it must be noted that that player has already invested a sum of money into this betting round. Technically, it was the small blind that opened this betting round by making the initial (albeit, blind) bet. Whatever the amount of the betting round when it reaches the small blind, the amount of the small blind bet is what that player has already invested into this betting round.

The same goes for the big blind. If nobody bumps the bet after the big blind, then the big blind owes nothing, as this was the player that made the last bet. It must be noted, however, that contrary to regular poker betting, if nobody bumps the bet after the big blind, the big blind owes nothing BUT is still allowed the option to bump the betting round when it reaches him or her. If the big blind declines from bumping, then the betting round is over.

The Flop
The top three cards from the deck are flipped face up in the center of the table. The small blind opens a second betting round, which proceeds as a regular poker betting round.

The Turn
The top card from the deck is flipped face up in the center of the table as the fourth community card. The small blind opens a third betting round, which proceeds as a regular betting round.

The River
The top card from the deck is flipped face up in the center of the table as the fifth and final community card. The small blind opens a fourth and final betting round, which proceeds as a regular betting round. After this betting round, players make their best five card hands using the two cards in their hand and the five community cards in the center of the table.

This is played the same as Texas Hold'Em, with two exceptions.

One, that each player is dealt four cards at the beginning of the game instead of two.

Two, when making one's best five card hand, each player must use exactly three of the five community cards and two of their four hole cards.

The game can be played as per Texas Hold'Em rules (with blinds) or as per Home Hold'Em rules (with antes).

Another home variation is to allow players to use whatever combination of community cards and the hole cards that they want to make their five card hand.

Manila is played with a stripped deck in which all cards below the rank of 7 are removed leaving just 32 cards. Each player is dealt two hole cards. The five community cards are dealt one at a time and each is followed by a round of betting.

At the showdown, unlike Texas Hold'em and more like Omaha, each player makes their best poker hand from both of their hole cards and exactly three of the five community cards.

Because of the stripped deck, a flush beats a full house. Also, an ace may not be played low for a straight (that is, the hand A-7-8-9-10 is not counted as a straight).

Variations
Common variations involve dealing three cards to each poker player, one of which can either be discarded at some point (like Pineapple Poker), or else held to the end, but maintaining the requirement that each player uses exactly two of their own cards with exactly three of the community cards. Three-card variants are sometimes played with 6s restored to the deck, making it 36 cards.

The dealer begins by dealing two cards face down to each player, and one card dealt face up to each player. The player with the highest card showing opens the first betting round. Following this betting round, another card is dealt face-up to each player, followed by a betting round, followed by a third card face-up, followed by a betting round, followed by a fourth card face-up, followed by a betting round, followed by the last card dealt face-down, concluded by the final betting round.

The player that opens each betting round is the player that has the best hand showing out of the cards face-up. If, for example, every player is dealt face-up mismatched cards, except for one player who has a pair showing, then that player opens the betting round.

In the end, each player takes the five cards out of seven that make up the best hand. For example, if a player is dealt the following hand:
K, Q, 2, K, 4, 2, K
the best combination of five cards in this player's hand are the 3 Kings and the pair of 2's. This player has a Full House, Kings over 2's.

This is five-card Draw Poker without any stipulations, except for designated wild cards. The dealer determines if there will be any wild cards at all. The dealer also determines how many draws there will be, as well as the maximum number of cards each player will be allowed to draw each time. "Two draws of two", for example, would mean that each player will have two opportunities to discard as many as two cards in exchange for two new ones from the deck.

Typically, a betting round precedes and ensues each draw, so there is always one more betting round than there are draws. Two draws, for example, would mean three betting rounds (deal, 1st betting round, 1st draw, 2nd betting round, 2nd draw, 3rd and final betting round, showdown).Straight Draw Poker means there are no wild cards.
